Not all bathroom layouts are the same. That's why we designed three models which would fit 90% of all bathrooms. If there are no obstructions near the tub consider SG1. If you have a toilet near the tub, consider model SG2 as it can slide over the toilet. If there is a vanity or limited space, consider SG3, which has a small footprint and is able to swivel. But mine had to be 60 inches it’s perfect except it’s one piece and we use that bathroom.so I carry it out and put it back. But still think it’s the best thing I bought so far that was sturdy.and works well.
Only unit I could find that was wide enough to be used with the Jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom. It is solidly constructed with no shaking or wobbling. We added a swivel seat that fit they way we needed to use the unit. The seat glides effortlessly when anyone is on it including a 225# adult. I also need to note that the customer service people were great and very responsive to any questions or needs I had. If you are looking for a solid, durable shower transfer chair this is one I highly recommend.
The chair is a good product but it took six months to get all the parts so we were not able to use it. We had to purchase another chair because my son needed the chair. Although I love the product I would never purchase from this company again.
